This page is for Club Member Breeders whose breeding’s conform to LRC’s breed standard, to advertise their business and breeding’s. Please contact them (or their website) for more information about their services.

The Columbia Pointing Labrador Club provides this list as a resource to the public. As these are private individuals and/or businesses, the CBPLC cannot endorse, recommend or promote them; nor can we accept responsibility for client-business contracts or relationships. Individuals are advised to interview breeders and obtain a list of 5-10 clients they can interview about their experience. Tour the breeders’ facilities if possible and make sure to ask about the health of the litters they’ve sold previously. Responsible breeders will provide health guarantees on their puppies and both parents will have health clearances, including orthopaedic, ophthalmologic, and genetic testing. The breed standard is defined by the Labrador Retriever Club, which is the official AKC parent organization of our breed. Note that the LRC’s Genetic’s Committee does not accept Labrador Retrievers carrying the “dilute” gene as purebred Labs.

Therefore, CBPLC will not list any breeders who do not conform to LRC’s breed standard on their breeder’s web page.

Not all of the following breeders specifically breed Labrador Retrievers that point, but most do. Note also that no one can “guarantee” the puppies in their litters will point, even if both parents show the natural pointing instinct.
